The orang -utan of Sepilok, Sabah, East Malaysia

Many visitors were rushing to the feeding platform, and failed to notice this orang-utan relaxing above them.

He (or maybe she, I don't know) came down to greet his human cousins.

What's wrong with you, huh? Stop staring, OK?

  1. Roger, this is AWESOME!

Are you allowed to hold or touch them? I remember holding the hands of a junior orang utan in KL Lake Garden. Very similar to us (humans).

  2. No, not allowed to hold them as this can spread disease both ways. This place is similar to the one in Sarawak but more "lawah".
